Biography | Annie Dalbis
Annie Dalbis started her journey in filming when she was 14. She put together a graduation video for her older brother who was graduating high school at the time and after getting a lot of attention for it she started taking film classes her freshman year of high school at St. Charles North High School. During that time she won awards for her films in multiple student film festivals as well as a national film festival in Spain. She then went on to study film at the Savannah College of Art & Design for a few months during the summer of 2015 in their Rising Star program. She also got an opportunity to partake in an internship as a wedding videographer during her senior year of high school.
After graduating high school in 2016 she still kept up with filming and editing. She attended Elgin Community College in Elgin, Illinois and realized that she wanted to extend on her passion which was becoming an editor and producer. So she made the jump to attend The Illinois Media School in Lombard, Illinois in 2018.
That same year she graduated Valedictorian as well as the top of her class in film, TV, & radio. Annie’s spark and drive have shown in her studies which have landed her a position on the Stories to Savor Network team as an editor in promotions as well as the producer for the show titled, Dinner, Brunch & Dessert.
Some of the small things Annie enjoys in life are spending time with family, hanging out with friends, going to the gym, taking road trips and of course, going to the movies which is where she gets most inspired to do better in the film industry.
A fun fact about Annie is that she a huge Chicago sports fan.
