A lot of times, we take for granted the life that we live; the body that we use on a daily. We sometimes think that b/c we've lived in this body for so long and created this habit of not always focusing on ourselves, we fall out of touch with our on self. So my encouragement is to take a moment when you wake up in the morning to look at yourself in the mirror and share a brief and positive story with yourself first before voicing whatever other stories you have to the rest of the world. Once you do that, ask "You", how you're feeling.
Give yourself compliments
Nothing more better for yourself than to give yourself compliments. By doing this, we limit the expectations we have for others. And you know what, that's truly okay :-).
Smile more. Recognize your smile by looking in the mirror each day. Spread joy to yourself. When you give yourself joy, people will automatically see it on you and feel it in your vibe.
Tell a positive truth about you
Feed yourself with joy
Take a moment to be in a quiet place and meditate/have prayer
Write down your thoughts
After you share positive stories with yourself, then you will soon see that you will be able to share stories with each other, not against each other
